chipaya review
Defensivos. The construction of the traditional water dykes on Rio Lauca: one of the most ancient, fascinating and important custom of Chipaya’s culture. “Defensivos” (“Lan’z” in Uru Chipaya language) are realised through 3-weeks hard but shared work, involving the entire Chipaya community. These river banks will reroute the Rio Lauca’s flow controlling and preventing floods in the nearby village.
